Damn! Hope it sorts itself soon. I was rear-ended a few years ago but luckily managed to roll forward as she hit me. Her reason for not braking was that she was going to hosipital because her legs weren't moving properly.

Handsomedan:

Edit: To answer how long the neck hurts...we are now approx 4 days post-trauma and my neck is as sore now as it was on Sunday/Monday. Concussion symptoms still persisting...headaches that don;t go away no matter the number of painkillers taken.

Based on my partners concussion experience, try and limit your external simulation. Eg avoid bright lights (wear sunglasses, even inside if necessary), avoid screens (Tv, computer, ipad, mobile phone), avoid reading books even for a while and don't do too much 'brain work' eg take some time off work if you can.

Then try gradually re-introducing the above and see what you can or can't handle. It's not a fun thing to go through. It might be super boring but probably worth it. Podcasts might help with the boredom without any screens/books for a while.

Computer Lounge - order confirmed 16:59, order shipped 17:24, order picked up 17:36.

Not bad huh. Pretty much guarantees I'll miss the courier tomorrow...

The lady from the New Zealand consulate who has been giving me advice on dealing with banks when overseas. I asked for some advice on the local NZ Facebook group and she sent me a DM. Then she messages me today to let me know that she's going on leave later next week and there might be delays when she's on leave.

Public servants get a lot of sh!t but many of them are really awesome and proactive.

Recent Windows update (KB4528760?) that fixed my >1 y issue with ultra-slow loading of the File Explorer right click/New menu.

When my calculations about how much filament is left on the spool versus how much is required for the print actually work out correct:

Got all my venison from last weekend's hunt in France processed for the fridge during the week now waiting for the next BBQ.

Man, France is a long way to go for a hunting trip.

How do you get the meat home without the biosecurity guy at the airport taking it off you?

I'm guessing it's a autocorrect, but I'd be interested to know if in fact he was hunting in France :)

Umm, because it's not that far from Germany to France - ie, across a single border!
