Umm, because it's not that far from Germany to France - ie, across a single border!

networkn: I'm guessing it's a autocorrect, but I'd be interested to know if in fact he was hunting in France :)

I think a .300 WinMag is the right stuff to prevent a wild boar from escaping and to offer a new home in a refrigerator.

Seeing my two teenaged boys go to school for the first day at their respective schools and neither one of them upset about it.

When you hear the thumping subwoofer of your 20 year old son and his mate arriving from a mile away, and as they get closer you find they're listening to Kiss - Rock'n'Roll Al Night.

Did Eric Clapton really think she looked wonderful...or was it after the 15th outfit she tried on and he just wanted to get to the party and get a drink?

The mind-blowing and astounding amount of sheer musical talent that some people naturally possess. We are a magnificent species on the whole, it's just such a terrible shame about our parasitic tendencies.

Spotted on an AliExpress listing:

Also it's not even a real border as such - it's no more a border in use than crossing from Taupo to Hawkes Bay is!

I hate that border. I find the Taupo order control agents to be so fascist in their handling of minor border indiscretions
