Also they left Auckland before Level 3 to Rotorua - in order to lead an event there on Sunday. They obviously didn't take their L3 with them.

In my opinion grifters and a danger to society.

Conclusion to the "Billing Address" saga. I contacted them (they are based in the UK as a business, despite having an outlet here) and advised that I have lived in the same house for over 20 years and never changed my billing address...suddenly the problem is sorted and the order is placed.

Small annoyances: anti-climaxes 😉

Did Eric Clapton really think she looked wonderful...or was it after the 15th outfit she tried on and he just wanted to get to the party and get a drink?

@Handsomedan I don't believe they prey on sheep. They prey on the vulnerable and the desperate which is despicable. These two are scum bag con artist that need silenced. The press should not even give them airtime as it supports their grifting.

You're right - but if you ever speak to a hardline Tamakist, they do blindly follow like sheep...but must have started out as vulnerable and desperate at some point.

I had a small win against them once, when I refused to allow them a loan against the business for a large purchase...despite going through layers of their books, they couldn't prove that they were able to service the loan...because they hide their wealth in layers and layers of companies, sub-companies, trusts and other such nonsense - they never show up as earning anything and therefore avoid tax liability (this is not the church, as they are tax-exempt, I believe).

EDIT: and I note that he's gone from being a Bishop to an Apostle now...crikey!

And are apparently doing a national tour.  Welcome to the NZ version of the Trump Super-Spreader.

Geektastic: How long it takes to get any work for the public good done in NZ due to endless consultation instead of a bit of spine from the government.

Unless it's tearing down an existing lovely old house and cramming 20 unsightly dogboxes into the same space. That can be approved in... let's see, 5pm today work for you? We need an extra hour or two because of all the native trees you'll be cutting down to make way for extra dogboxes.

but also using up bug spray twice as fast!

Shhh! They're not supposed to realise that's the whole point.

What's really annoying though is that the supermarket shelves are full of this twice-the-loss-rate rubbish, it's almost impossible to find good-quality (multiple insecticides + synergists present) single-nozzle spray any more.

Yeah, close enough! And over the last 6 months I have sunk about $8.5k into it.

But the good news is...apparently it'll be good until its next service.

I always buy Black Flag for our cockroaches. Raid is worse than useless. Once I had no choice and ended up with four cans that didn't spray at all, just a miserable liquid dribble.

Up there with the milk I just bought. "A2 Pasteurised Milk" in 2" letters on the front. On the back? "Contains Milk". Well, who'd have guessed?
