When you go to change Parmco Fridge doors from right-hinge to left.

  1. read the instructions which give all details clearly
  2. remove contents fridge
  3. remove right hinges (and doors) as per instructions
  4. go to shift right hinges to left only to find they are wrong
  5. check manual which has no mention of another set of hinges
  6. ring up Parmco who advise they dont talk about technical matters over the phone you will have to email us your query "I have a fridge with no doors, and contents are ruining" sorry sir.
  7. re-assemble fridge and email Parmco who reply that a new set of left hinges will cost $60

Slightly annoyed, and no, Im not buying any more Parmco goods.

Al.

That sucks!

I was really pleased with the service I got from them..different scenario and this was totally my fault. I managed to break a hob glass cover when installing a rangehood for a customer and I tried to order a replacement glass top - advised none were available and would be too costly to do, so they offered me a one-off $300 fee for a brand new upper spec hob retailed at over $1200 - so if nothing else their parts support are pretty good... I do agree they should mention additional parts required for swapping a fridge door though but just wanted to share my experience

You must have a huge life if the World’s money is a small thing to you! ;-)

Hopefully you don't do high speed data acquisition as a daily job ;-)

The Warehouse are getting out of selling DVDs and blurays. Ok so its been in decline for ages, but its still annoying for us old fashioned disc owning types.

Pah. Don't like that modern rubbish, give me a wax cylinder phonograph every time...

(and blurays for actual moving pictures)

But it was pretty obvious that L1 was going to happen in Auckland... a savvy business person would take the risk and get things underway in anticipation.

Also, level 2 in 99% of Auckland is level 1. I haven't been able to see the difference outside of having big crowds again.

That my my house rear door (About 5 years old) has failed locking - or should tha unlocking mechanism!

The "tongues" unlock fine! But the top and bottom pins / bolts don't!

Oh well.....log a call to Exceed tomorrow  and await the consequences of delays and complications etc!

(It's the door we use most often too!)
