Courier Companies again.

Aramex. 5 Days to deliver an item in within Auckland.

The Rub: Would have taken me 45 minutes to walk there and deliver it by hand. Literally.

Aramex. Took them 7 days to deliver a small parcel from Auckland to Wellington. Bought from same supplier again a couple weeks ago, six days. Told the supplier I will buy elsewhere if they continue to use Aramex.

Team, Windows and Bluetooth are the 7th circle of hell.

I seem to have solved it with a very expensive jabra dongle but for goodness sakes it's ridiculous.

Bunnings' crap computerisation, where it's a pot luck for whether one web page or another knows what stock levels are. Here's an example, where the product page says it's in available while the order page, once you click through the entire ordering process, says it isn't:

Mind you, it's still better than Mitre 10's random approximation to what they have in stock, where you need to visit the physical store to see what they really carry. And their idiotic "search" function where a search for, say, waterbased house paint will return results for a garden hose, fenceposts, ant poison, galvanised nails, and barbeques. How can anyone actually write such a totally broken search function? Do they just throw up random results and hope that at least one of what you're looking for will be in there?

The bit that annoys me is is, i want to order something in a quantity they are never likely to have in the shop, but i cant order it online as it says the store i have selected doesnt have the quantity. none of the stores do. can i not order it it online for delivery from their logistics center?

Yesterday MS had big issues with authentication, which adversely affected Teams in particular.

It appears Bunnings won't pool stock from multiple stores to fill a delivery order, whereas Mitre10 will, or at least will find a store that has all required items. Perhaps Bunnings stores are franchised, only sell in their own area, and don't like working as a team to keep customers happy?

They fixed it fast. I've just searched on those tiles, they must have been circling the drain.
"This product is not available to buy online." No stock in any of the lower NI stores.

AFAIK Mitre10 is the franchised operation, Bunnings own the chain.

But Mitre10 are happy to work together to keep customers happy. Bunnings aren't.

America's Cup - potentially final race at 4.15pm today. Two meetings (video calls with AU) back to back at that time. Very annoying.

They never had any in stock, it and many other lines have been out of stock since before the first lockdown. Check back at random and it'll be (non) orderable again.
