Out for an evening walk just on dusk and seeing three boys repeatedly scootering down a steep hill yelling their heads off. Probably highly dangerous, because no lights and possible traffic - but they were having so much fun 😃

I have two teenage boys. I can see them doing something like this.

Finding a game I was going to buy for my wife and kids, for $70, is available from tomorrow, on Xbox Game Pass. Easily one of the best value subscriptions I have, especially since it cost me $1 for 3 Years. Even at full price, it's probably worth it for me.

MS gets a fair bit of (I feel very justified) criticism from me for various things, but it's Xbox Platform despite a rough start, is really very good.

Havent even turned the ps4pro on in ages because of gamepass on the xbox. Sony will have to do something amazing with the next one to make me buy it at launch.

I have both and expect to continue. Between launch and say 12 months ago, my xbox was pretty much unused except for sporadic bursts of exclusive games, and even then I didn't' really like it. I prefer the Sony Controllers and vastly prefer the game choice of Sony's offerings, but the Xbox offering is much more attractive than it was previously and so I probably spend about even time on it.

I bought Division 2 on PS4, so it's had way more game time recently.

My SO - who's normally extremely politically correct - answers our almost abandoned landline yesterday, very gruffly starts to tell the caller where to get off as soon as internet is mentioned, then reels when they say - so "Mrs Fred - will anybody be home when we get there to install your fibre in in 10 minutes?".  Good guys - I made them coffee - they wanted to get an early start to finish jobs for the day in time for the cricket.

Homemade Apricot Jam.

Some Jams are best made by professionals (Craigs Raspberry for example which in my opinion can't be beat) but homemade apricot jam is quite a step up from anything I've ever bought.

Mind-boggling amount of sugar. I couldn't do it and used 2/3 the recipe and it's still very sweet!

have you tried Pams finest Jams, They use 60% fruit [Craigs are 40%] and only have around 700kj  per 100g, other jams are around 1100kj per 100g .

Common sense is not as common as you think.

Thanks, great tip! How do you like them compared to Craigs for taste?

they are not as sweet as Craigs but they taste more like the fruit they say they are. They are actually made in Denmark.

Looking at my dogs grinning face after she has run herself legless on her morning walk chasing rabbits. I hope I come back as a country dog.

There probably is a reason, maybe you better find out - 'cause unless you're just deaf, it doesn't bode well for your future.

That feeling you get when you have just turned a corner at a really stressful time and think that maybe, just maybe you're about to get on top of it all...
