What type of container? Pretty sure they can’t get into Sistema containers with the blue o-ring.

That's exactly what they're getting into.

Were those o-rings made by Morton Thiokol?

With great respect, I can’t see how they’d get around or through the ring - must be another reason and/or getting in some other way.

Edit: Per @Fred99 “... already in the food before you put it in the big container.”

Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.

Mrs Floyd's uncanny ability to cover food items in glad-wrap so that it requires a PhD in physics, tweezers, a microscope and surgical precision to unwrap the product............

...............i just want to eat my muffin.

Did Eric Clapton really think she looked wonderful...or was it after the 15th outfit she tried on and he just wanted to get to the party and get a drink?

A truly smart creature like a labrador retriever would simply scoff the lot in one gulp, plastic and all, then let nature take care of the unwrapping process.

But even more annoying is when the glad-wrap wont cling!

Taking the train to Wellington yesterday and seeing how many people were not bothering with masks. Worse, the fact that the guards were simply ignoring the rule breaking.

I raised it with Metlink, who offered a spineless corporate response about it not being their job to enforce rules...

I think it actually is though?

I'm sure if you lit a cigarette they would pay attention and start enforcing that rule.

I suggested that there was a difference between speaking to a passenger about not complying with a rule and enforcing compliance by issuing a fine etc.

Quite likely their staff have no power to do the latter. They certainly have the power - and in my view the obligation - to do the former.

Surely they can kick the passenger off at the next station. Maybe the way to do it is to not pay and say that since they are not enforcing masks it doesn't count as public transport and you don't need to pay.

The email conversation I had with their “Customer Service” department was fairly spineless. They finished by suggesting that I call the police from the train if I “felt unsafe”.

They clearly don’t care.

That's a very odd sentiment to put on a public forum. Maybe something got lost in translation.
