PPP partnerships for infrastructure projects. I think publicly owned infrastructure should be built by public works.

People who blatantly ignore 'No Smoking' signs.

Did Eric Clapton really think she looked wonderful...or was it after the 15th outfit she tried on and he just wanted to get to the party and get a drink?

And then either drop their disgusting butts on the ground, nearby foliage or worst of all, drains

Tried something similar to that - but no, they will only give you the link to the brochure download by email - so you have to give at least a real email address. Ridiculous.

+1 to considerate smokers who do respect signs, in spite of there being so many, and do dispose of the butts correctly. Not every smoker is a neanderthal, and non-smokers leave a hell of lot more trash behind. Let us not stereotype and judge. Smokers are addicts, and they suffer when they can't get a hit. Condemn the bad ones, but show a little tolerance for the others.

- and have to reveal my email address to them to do that? The irony.

Here in Dunedin, the main vax clinic closed over Easter.

I'm not waiting til June in any case as through fate I'm working that day...but not the agreed date in May.

The new IRD AML (anti money-laundering) requirements where they send you an SMS that takes you to a web site that you fill in and then they send you another SMS with another URL that you have to visit on your phone only it doesn't work with the phone's default browser so you have to install Chrome for which you then need to give access to your location, your camera, your firstborn, ... if only there was some government-created ID system that you could use instead of having to go through this rubbish. One that you could use to verify that it was Really ME.

Having a cup of tea or coffee next to you that you think is almost empty and also think you can empty in one big gulp, so you pick it up and tilt it back...
