FineWine: "Mong Metal" Is a band from Mongolia that blends the screaming guitars of heavy metal and traditional Mongolian instruments and guttural singing has picked up 7 million views for its two videos.

That particular band is actually The Hu. They've been played occasionally around here. Mongolian throat singing combined with heavy metal is certainly a bit different.

I saw there was a charitable run in a Massey Ferguson tractor. Didn't know anything about the tractors.

Found this sedate video about a man who loves his tractors

That's so funny. I think it's the mid-air flailing that does it, as well as the large amount of time he spends in the air.

long video, but very informative.

Even gets into why "Just in time" manufacturing.

It is often looking at just short-term gains and almost always fails to identify supply chains, until it's too late.

Good lessons for us here

This one was really interesting, and it hooked me in with a subscribe and ringing the bell.  I had not heard of Airtags, but they look pretty cool, even if we are price gouged as usual.  PBTech has them at NZ$54 for one (US$39) but they are US$100 for four in the States.

I loved that he got a hit with the Airtag in the middle of knowhere, and worked out that it must have been two aircraft passing in range of each other, although that does sound like they would have been worryingly close.  Note: I don't know how Airtags communicate. Is it Bluetooth?  There is surely no way that two aircraft could have been close enough for that?

Steamboat Willie is out of copyright in NZ, apparently, 65 years after the copyright that applied when it was created expired, but whatever.  America.

Hmmm.  Whoever uploaded Steamboat Willie disabled embedding, so need to "view on youtube".  I could download and re-upload to youtube with embedding enabled, which should be legal, but AFAIK there's no way to edit the existing link to make it work.
