Unfortunately, Ecotricity have currently "Paused on-boarding for maintenance" until the 15th of April, so I can't get any price information from them other than their export rates.

That's really annoyed me as why does it take 2 weeks to update prices?

Expect they are porting accounts over to  Genesis' IT system.  Still, no excuse in this day and age to have a 2 week outage.

Is it worth my time to change to Meridian to save $283 this year I wonder?

I note that you haven't included PowerEdge in your calcs. Also think it's worth waiting for Ecotricity to come to the party. For me those are the front runners and Ecotricity in particular shines in terms of FITs. 24.15c/kWh for peak export including GST (18.4c/kWh off peak) is hard to beat if you're exporting substantially. Be sure though to add 6% to their supply rates to cover their "losses" charges which aren't made clear going in.
