Damn, what a performance!

People often mistake me for an adult because of my age.

Keep calm, and carry on posting.

Fat Freddy's Drop Wairunga film.

Stoke up the fire on a cold night, pour a glass of red and play it loud. It's worth it.

This more of a YouTube channel recommendation, and something that the 'algorithm' threw at me today.  LadBible   puts up short interviews with interesting people, some of which have dark backgrounds. Hard line criminals, hackers.  This one has an ex member of the Anonymous hacking group who was just 16 when first arrested.

BTW, I can't work out how to embed videos.  I found this post from 2010 but I can't see how to apply it.

Not perfect quality,

Ten Pound Poms

Ten Pound Poms (or Ten Pound tourists) is a colloquial term used in Australia and New Zealand to describe British citizens who migrated to Australia and New Zealand after the Second World War. The Government of Australia initiated the Assisted Passage Migration Scheme in 1945,[1][2] and the Government of New Zealand initiated a similar scheme in July 1947. The Commonwealth arranged for assisted passage to Australia on chartered ships and aircraft.

Moved to Australia in Dec 1983 and lived there for 30 years and believe me I paid more than £10 to get there 😀

PM Robert Menzies was an avid QE2 devotee but when it came time for the Snowy River scheme and such other large infrastructure projects, they needed miners and other such skills and the pom's didn't cut it so in came the Italians and Greeks and that is when Australia really changed. A good friend of ours went to school with their kids and he would swap his marmite and lettuce sandwiches for their anti-pasta etc. White Australia did not know what had hit them and the European food won them over and the Italians and Greeks loved the cold Aussie beers.

Surprised this hasn't been posted yet. I first discovered Robert Jordan's W.O.T series back in '94 & waited the full 20+ years for the stories completion. Must admit I'm sceptical about the TV adaptation but will give it a shot once released.

You may be aware of the history of Pitcairn island, populated by the mutineers from the HMS Bounty in the 1700's, although there was a population of Polynesians there to begin with.

I have no idea why anyone would want to live there. It's hardly what you'd call a tropical island. Current population is 55, many with surnames from the original crew of the Bounty.

Anyway, this great 36 min clip on Youtube is shot with a drone - probably the only one the island has ever seen.

Interesting that they got some very high and distant shots from the drone because there's so little radio interference.

I know this is ancient history but it always annoys me when white guys made more money than the original African-American artist.

Case in point, UK's Roxy Music's Bryan Ferry made much more money by remaking African-American Wilbert Harrison, pretty much a complete copy.

The original from 1962, released in 1971

The rip-off from 1976

Who said dentists are boring?

or maybe this guy's nitrous oxide bottles was leaking.

This dentist is somewhat near Boston in the US, so I guess no one in this forum will challenge

Can you beat this dentist at Super Smash Bros video game?

For some reason the Denver Colorado Airport, DIA, has a LOT of conspiracy theories.

This gargoyle jokes about it, at the airport
