Geektastic: The wind today.
It turned my dog shed upside down.
Where's the dog shed? All I'm seeing is a three-person flat.
PS: I live in Auckland.

I assume, since it's medical, that everything will be running as normal there, only concern is whether public transport will be operating if we go to level 4.
They're certainly thorough about notifying you, I got three texts, two emails, postal mail, a fax, two carrier pigeons, and an airdrop of leaflets.

Booked mine as soon as possible. Got a letter invitation just the day after. Then the confirmation and the email and SMS reminders. All very efficient.

Booked mine first thing Friday morning, was jabbed by Saturday afternoon. Very efficient and painless, although my arm felt like someone had punched it on Sunday. That was gone by Monday.

I have acute needle-phobia. I booked my COVID jab yesterday. It'll be in late September. I have to think about that for the next month. I broke out into a cold sweat booking it. I don't know how I'll go with the actual jab.

I booked over the phone, and my wife via the website. Both only received an initial SMS once the booking was complete. I like receiving reminders the day before, which we didn't recieve. That kinda annoyed me. Maybe we'll get a reminder for the second dose? I hope I remember the date and time correctly...
People often mistake me for an adult because of my age.
Keep calm, and carry on posting.

My wife and I wrote everything down, just in case. But after booking online, we got txt and email notifications with all the details.

Same here, letter arrived after I'd already booked, which was quick and painless.

If it helps - I didn't feel a single thing. Not a single thing. Couldn't believe she had actually done it when she said thats it. Could be the same for you. I too am needle phobic so I get it that's it not just the pain etc etc, but its as soon as I feel the prick that i get woozy and the world starts spinning so I was very pleased not to have that. Good luck!
I once had to get a blood test and said i'll need to lie down but they said they didn't have beds, so i am using the chair and faint and end up face down on the ground of a lab test center ewwww! 1 hour later they ring me and tell me they didn't draw enough vials and I have to come back. Interestingly between my first and second visit they must have had a bed delivered, because there was one in the other room for the 2nd time /s

If my experience was anything to go by, if you look away you won’t even know the injection has taken place.

It is also a tiny amount - I asked, and was told 1/3 of a ml. The needle was in and out in under half a second.
