Very true. But you have to be organised enough to do that. Or at least remember to do ctrl-click or whatever it is...

Right click in Opera then choose "Open in a new tab" or on Opera for Mobile a long press on the link does the same thing.

Clicking the scroll wheel on my mouse also opens a new tab.

Apologies @rb99 , you probably just came to vent, not to get people offering their solutions!

Same as in Firefox. I realise its easy to do, its just difficult for me to remember to do it consistently. Still The Guardians / The Heralds / the NYTs fault though 😀

Well yes, but didn't know about the mouse wheel thing. Works here as well. Wonder if I'll actually remember it...

This doesn't annoy me per se, but you'd think that a company the size of Toyota could hire a native speaker to proofread the manual.

True but very common. I spent several months in Thailand back in the day. Many backpacker eateries had terribly poor translations on the menu and I never could work out why they never asked any of the multitude of native English speakers eating in the establishments to correct them in return for a free curry!

Mind you, I'm not known for being a shrinking violet when it comes to that sort of thing. When I worked at the DIA in Wellington, I intervened in a heated discussion between two Kiwi colleagues about how to correctly word something with "As the only person in this office who actually speaks English, perhaps I can help..."

That sort of thing used to be prevalent in the technical manuals we used to have from Japan. We used to say Janglish. Mind you we also had Spanglish as well for the Spanish built equipment.

I agree in this day and age you'd think a multi national company the size of Toyota would do better.

Somebody set up us the sticker. Main screen turn on. All your electronic component are belong to us. You have no chance to survive make your time. Take off every radar sensor. For great justice!

That I can't use Transmission Gully for tomorrow's commute into the office.

Did Eric Clapton really think she looked wonderful...or was it after the 15th outfit she tried on and he just wanted to get to the party and get a drink?

That DST that I love, is causing our household so much disrupted sleep. Was shattered yesterday, went to bed at 9pm new time, didn't go to sleep till after 1:30am! wife and kids report much later than usual sleep times too and everyone is walking around like extras from the walking dead.

I caught my son muttering under his breath ... "BRAAAAINS!"

It is springtime and my two neutered male cats are having pissing contests. So how do I clean a pillow that has been peed on? Not the removable pillow case, the pillow itself.

By setting it on fire.

Sorry, but you'll never get that smell out properly, and pillows cost $6-8.
