It is springtime and my two neutered male cats are having pissing contests. So how do I clean a pillow that has been peed on? Not the removable pillow case, the pillow itself.

By setting it on fire.

Sorry, but you'll never get that smell out properly, and pillows cost $6-8.

Plus you get to set something on fire, and that's always fun.

I got a new car recently, and yesterday was the first time it's been through a DST change. There are two clocks. One's on the touchscreen (maps, music, etc.) and the other's on the dashboard. The touchscreen one automatically updated for DST and the dashboard one didn't.

But wait, there's more! I was going through all the dashboard menus and couldn't figure out how to set the clock. I had to look in the book. It turns out that you set the dashboard clock via the touchscreen!

People who move down supermarket lanes pushing a trolley at a steady three miles a year, holding up everyone else in the supermarket. Was at the local Pak'n'Save today with a lady moving down the exit lane at this speed - so not shopping, just pushing her trolley to the door - holding up everyone in the entire supermarket who was trying to leave as she gradually ambled along, taking all the time in the world to cover the 25 metres or so. For everyone else it was take two steps, stop, wait, wait, wait, wait, take two more steps, stop, wait, wait, wait, wait, ...

I find that the people that are worse than this are the ones that not only amble about, but also just stop their trollies in mid-aisle and don't give a hoot for anyone that might want to pass...blocking the whole lane, so they can peruse the preserves, or ogle the ovaltine.

And suddenly a courier turns up with a bike in a box at 7.20pm.
Just 30 hrs after I sent an email with the words “stolen” and “compensation” in it.

Sounds close enough the 3/4 of a cup to me. Almost like it's someone idea of a joke.

Hi. Really glad it finally turned up. Shame about the headaches, but now you can concentrate on the fun :)

Even though this is annoying for you I do want you to see this from the staff members point of view also who are dealing with this and hearing comments from annoyed customers blaming them for the problem. Despite these frustrations I want you and everyone else to be kind and understanding. This isn't their fault, and trust me - they're working tirelessly to sort this. Your money is safe.

That DST that I love, is causing our household so much disrupted sleep. Was shattered yesterday, went to bed at 9pm new time, didn't go to sleep till after 1:30am! wife and kids report much later than usual sleep times too and everyone is walking around like extras from the walking dead.

I caught my son muttering under his breath ... "BRAAAAINS!"

Did Eric Clapton really think she looked wonderful...or was it after the 15th outfit she tried on and he just wanted to get to the party and get a drink?

Thank you for the assurance and I agree with you on the amount of hard work (I work in this space as well) goes into fixing server/network outages like this (specially when you are actively under attack).

I am mostly annoyed with the lack of communication and assurance from their website (I am sure it won't be hard to put a banner) specially when this became a habit recently. Luckily, I am with couple of banks (DR scenario :D ).
I can only feel for those who don't have any other option but to wait and watch without any updates (not counting the social media)
