+1,000,000 (he sounded constipated ... a bit like pierce trying his hardest to pitch on Mamma Mia ... but nowhere near as painful)

but thankfully did not alter the impact of the Broadway

edit: what would be awesome though is to have lea Salonga (Broadway) as fantine ... just the vocals will be more than impactful

I loved that they had the same actress playing Eponine as played her in the 25th Anniversary Concert, and the latest West End season. She was incredible.

Cabin in The Woods - 7/10 - Not quite what I was expecting in the storyline , but enjoyable and a laugh for a "horror" :)

Gangster Squad - 6/10

A decidely average film.  For me, it suffered by comparison with LA Confidential and The Untouchables.  Gangster Squad felt like it was spread too thin, so none of the characters really got a chance to develop.  The story seemed weak and it was obvious that the script needed tightening up.  A shame, really, because the trailers promised so much (as they often do), and I was quite looking forward to it.

For those who like film festival type shows I discovered a break up gem ...

Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind

Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet surprisingly UN Jim and UN Kate-ly and a few inner tears shed

Django Unchained

I just watched it and was wondering what the geekzone thought about it!

I gave into the hype of a new Quentin Tarantino movie, it was okay I guess, not as good as his previous movies in my opinion.
Quentin and his love of never-ending dialogue made the movie about 40-50 minutes too long.

The actors played their parts awesomely
It was a good watch, but I wouldn't watch it 10+ times like I have pulp fiction.

We really enjoyed the movie would certainly watch again.

I found one scene unecessarily long (the hood scene) and my brother in law who I watched it with said he felt a like a racist from watching a movie so full of the N word. Of course though if this word was not used it couldn't really be taken seriously as a movie based in those times and conditions. lol

les mis...loved it!! Thought Russell Crowe was fine, just that everyone else was better than him, he wasnt actually bad. Kinda the same as the Jonas brother guy in the 25th anniversary production. Sure he could sing well but everyone else was brilliant. Would have liked to have seen the innkeeper played by the Little Britain guy, same as from the 25th production instead of Borat who I thought was just ok.

After seeing that flick a few years ago with that Kiwi stunt double for Xena, I don't think I can put up with any of Tarantino's self-indulgent dialogue again.

Yeah that one's ... interesting and apparently has very little CG in it; most of it's done the old-fashioned way.
