I am currently studying for a masters thesis in Wellington NZ. I am investigation the desire to fabricate images containing ever greater levels of realism in computer games.

I have constructed some real or render tests that I would love some feedback on for my project. The images are from the real world and from the game world, you have to decide which images are from which space.

a link to where my project information is here: http://traineffect.wordpress.com/

I would really appreciate thoughts and ideas about this topic even if you are not into video games.

any help you could give on this subject would be much appreciated.

Matt

Rendered - but it'd be harder to pick if the power lines didn't have kinks in them...

That was thought provoking. There are a fair number of 'help me with my research' posts here on geekzone, every one I have seen is crap. But this is worthwhile, and I'd encourage everyone to give it a go.
