I need to spend a couple of days down there and a lot of the usual suspects hotel wise are still closed due to quake damage.

Any recommendations on a good quality hotel in an area that is relatively central and has minimal quake damage?

A few motels on Bealey Ave, Mr Biddle and myself stayed there last weekend attending the Geekzone pizza...

Chateau on the Park, Parkview on Hagley, Centrepoint on Colombo Motel are all central.
