Hi, is there anyway to search a phone number for address (or at least area)? I tried white pages but I can only search by name...

I usually start by Googling the number, with and with out gaps, to see what turns up...

eg +6491234567 +64 9 123 4567  09 123 4567 09 1234567...

Yeah, tried that, excluding the gaps I'll keep that in mind.

Way back in the day, I have held in my hands a reverse phone book for Christchurch (I think it was Christchurch, this is probably 25 years ago at least and it may have been an old book then).

Doesn't help you now, but interesting bit of useless information anyway.

Trade and Exchange used to publish a one page guide for that in every issue. My guess - it became unreliable due to technology change.

What are the first three digits? If it is a number where that will work, that is usually enough.

If you need to find an address from a phone number a call from "mike from NZ couriers" can work wonders (used this in prior job when trying to visit debtors and/or repo stuff)
