Someone on here jogged my memory about Entropay. Does anyone use it, is it safe and I have read somewhere that you need to provide them with a scanned copy of a drivers licence or similar, is this correct?

Also, can this be used to pay for Hulu Plus?

I used to use it, because it's treated as a debit card and not as a credit card, some places won't accept it (e.g. Playstation Network). Other than that minor issue, I didn't have any problems with them.

However, I believe that Hulu _do_ accept it. They certainly did about a year back.

I have used it in the past. I don't know if it can be used for Hulu Plus, I doubt it though as the card is issued by Ixaris, who is a UK company (unconfirmed.  They very well might though!)

They would need some sort of ID to sign you up as well, since the UK financial laws are quite strict nowadays.

The only problem I ever had with them is that Westpac blacklisted payments to them so that if I wanted to load my card, I had to attempt a load which got declined, then wait for Westpac to call me and they would force the payment through while on the phone with me - it was impossible to load the Entropay card without the bank on the phone. Their reasoning was that Entropay, while not dodgy on its own, was frequently used by dodgy individuals to launder money.
