Thought I would start a thread because in the last few months my Son who is nearly three has started saying some pretty funny/cute things.. I thought it might be a light hearted thread :)

So Alex and I were in his bed reading a story a couple of months back.. His arm brushed my face and I hadn't shaved for a few days and he pulled his arm away and rubbed it.

I said "Daddy's Prickles" which made him laugh. He spends the next couple of minutes touching my prickles and laughing. I keep reading and the whole time he is looking at my face. Next minute his eyes open wide and he touches my eyebrows and says... "Daddy's Eye Pickles!". I couldn't stop laughing.  It's part of our nightly bed routine now. Though recently he determined they were long enough to pull on!

The other day, I farted loudly, not something I do very often and something he has no experience in our house of, he eyes open wide, and he said.. "wasn't me!" Never heard those words out of his mouth, nor taught him any reference to denying culpability, did make me laugh though.

On another note he seems to struggle with C's and P's and says D's and B's instead.. So when Daddy asks Alex for Big Squeezie Cuddles, he often repeats Big Squeezie Duddles.

Gosh, where to begin, maybe my just-4 year old calling everyone a "pen*s-head" or her latest insistence that she doesn't need to ask for permission provided she advises you of her intentions beforehand which is always followed by the term "...you roger that?"

Hard to growl when your left stunned and other are laughing their faces off.

Neither terms are used in my house so I guess other kids in daycare.

Lazy is such an ugly word, I prefer to call it selective participation

When our daughter was starting to talk, she yelled out in the middle of Countdown "COCK MUMMY, COCK!!" - she was pointing to the clock and hadnt mastered "l".... thankfully I was at work and it was my wife who got the red face... :)

My daughter when she was around 2 or 3 said F*** Jesus which had never been mentioned in ou house in the same sentence. Best part of that it was as we were just walking into church.

Thankfully these days she's learned some better sayings but teenagers are good at that.

"Move it lady", our then 2 year old daughter to some lady at Pak N Save who was standing infront of whatever grocery item we needed.

"what if I was jus getting something off my thumb" - funniest excuse offered so far for thumb-sucking (shes 8 grrr)

Then you should put a billion photos of them on facebook for every one else to know this!

It's weird being in your mid 20's. Half your friends photos are people out on the town half pissed, the other half are baby photos.

Enjoy it while you can. Next stop: obituaries.

Alex just says "beep beep" when he wants people to move. When I take Alex to the supermarket or somewhere just him and I, it always amazes me the number of hot women who come over to talk to us. I have about 7 phone numbers from the last 12 months :)

When my boys were learning how to talk, one of them came up to me and was telling me that his "Food fell out" .... took me a moment to translate that he'd been sick! :-)

I was bathing our baby daughter one evening, crouched down by the bathtub, and farted. It were 'orrible. 3 year old son walks in, frowns, and says, 'Daddy, there's something in here that smells a little bit like poo.'
