I was in a Mobil service station a couple of days ago when I heard the staff asking a customer who was buying drinks what their age was.

The customer said they where 15 and the staff said they couldn't sell the smart drinks to them (It was a Mother drink I think) as they where under 16.

Is this a new Mobil initiative or has the staff decided to make this rule themselves?

I know some shops in Dunedin who refused to sell those demon shots to under 18's when they came out. That was their own rule as they had 13-16 year olds buying 4-5 at a time.

Maybe they have a request from / some sort of agreement with the local school.

Did Eric Clapton really think she looked wonderful...or was it after the 15th outfit she tried on and he just wanted to get to the party and get a drink?

Never heard of that, that's quite funny but to be honest it is an interesting point, to sell or not to sell them? That is the question to "underage". Some people just simply drink too many at a young age, I saw a 9 year old the other day drinking a V. Energy Drinks are the new tobacco!
