lxsw20: I think the comcom have had a bit of a crack down on that. You'll notice M10 Mega no longer use the "best range, lowest prices, end of story." Motto.
allan: On window of JB Hi-Fi, Wellington. Red piece of paper stuck over poster which obviously once read "CHEAPEST"...

In that case, it not only looks cheap, it IS cheap.
I only noticed because I sat alongside it while eating something from the adjacent food court.
Did Eric Clapton really think she looked wonderful...or was it after the 15th outfit she tried on and he just wanted to get to the party and get a drink?

It's not the price that's cheap or cheapest, it's the item or the product. The price should be advertised as being low or lowest.

+1 - In Australia, JB's motto is 'Always Cheapest Prices', here they cannot use that (You will notice on their flyers it is 'Always Cheap Prices') because all it would take is for one of the others to beat them on any price and lay acomplaint with the ComCom.
