As they say, dreams are free...

Cheapest LCD televisions are still in the ~$300-400 range (22"). Not many of these will be 1080p, the majority will still be "HD ready" i.e. 720p

thanks but i have seen tv brand new online 19'' lcd for like $90nzd but shipping killed it

Simply not going to happen. At least not for something that will allow you to watch TV on it. A DVB-T tuner adds significant cost.

If you just want a monitor for the inputs then there are plenty of sub $100 options available second hand.

I assume when you say "shipping killed your $90 one" you were probably referring to something overseas. Was there any guarantee it would work on our DVB-T network? There are plenty of sub A$100 15.6" TV's in Aussie, none of which will work in NZ.
