Hiya.  The wife had a Philips frame all lined up to give to a friend who is over from the UK, but the store contacted her yesterday to say it wouldn't ship on time. No one else seems to have stock, or they are much more expensive (personally I'd rather just buy an old laptop for the purpose, but heh!).

Trademe has a few "yum-cha" no brand jobbies, but no idea what they are like....

Any ideas?   Cheers,  matt...

Can't see any at DSE...  but maybe I'm searching for the wrong thing??
AFAIK they are usually called digital photo frames, but maybe called something else?

Heya!

I have had a look on both DSE and Noel Leemings, however Noel Leemings has it and the name of it there is a Digital Photo Display. I don't think DSE sells them anymore but Noel Leemings should have it at the one you are near. They don't have good service down here but they might where you are. The good thing about them is, is that if they don't have any in stock then they will give you a discount of 15% I think it is, just make sure you ask them before you go to pay for it, thats if you get it shipped into the store. Hope this information helped :)

Ok so I found out, apparently it came from "I have no idea" - not so helpful but I gave it a shot...

I think he's referring to the brand and origins of his own digital frame, which he wrote on a previous he was going to check.
