Obviously some of ChCh is making do with what they have, and won't necessarily be extremely accessible.

Where are some good spots in ChCh (doesn't have to be the city) for sightseeing, lunch, dinner, that are wheelchair accessible?

Most eatery places are pretty accessible. As for sightseeing, not much sight to see within city limit though.

Internet is my backyard...

Most sight seeing destroyed or inaccesible - includes Cathedral, Basslica, Crowne Plaza lifts (and Flower CLock??), Science Alive, Square, QEII. Ye Olde Stone buildings. Other parts not accessible - New regent Street, Art Centre, Art Gallery, Gondola, parts of Museum. Goodly chunks of CBD still redzoned and not accessible. Surrounding streets navigatable in wheelchair - at own risk as its pretty bumpy. Pop up container shops in CBD may be worth a look and Casino if you are so inclined. Antartic Centre is open. Hagley Park pretty much OK - and lake has been refilled with water. A drive up porthills is OK (but I think Sign of Kiwi / Takahe closed??). Sticky beaking in redzoned residential won't be apprecioated so give the residents a break and stay clear. Sumner worth a drive - do the retailers a favour and take some cash and buy a coffee or something.

I am pretty sure the pop-up mall is all accessible. You will be able to see down a few streets there at all the demolition work.

Thanks - great info.

Certainly not looking to rubberneck the people trying to get on with life, and more interested in enjoying my visit, and hopefully injecting some cash into local businesses (happy to get out of the CBD and go exploring).
