Does anyone know of the changes to SBS TV Australia reception that are happening over the next 12 months?

I live in Palmerston North and have recently lost SBS 1 and 2 ( channels ) the only way I can get it ) SBS ) is by watching SBS Eastern States or W.A. Queensland. Not a problem you think? but the cycling is best on SBS 2 and this is what I got the Free view decoder for with the card so I could watch SBS 2.

My local tech has said that there used to be an over spill with the satellite that's how we got SBS 1 and 2, but this has now been corrected?  Further more he mentioned within the next twelve months that we will not get SBS at all, due to satellite reception changing?

I am a keen cycling fan, and this news ( if true? ) is a major blow, has anyone else had the same problem, or herd of these changes to SBS reception?

Any help and suggestions on what I could do, and any GOOD sources to get O.S. cycling ( including SBS Aus ) would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Tony.

I'd suggest the search function, it's free too....
