I'm sure some joggers have traces of lemming DNA in them!

Never understood why not braking your stride is more important than not running out into moving traffic :-(

It's called evolution. Let us not mess with evolution.

Disclaimer: I don't condone silly actions for any reason, I just don't get silly people sometimes.

Is this related to any specific event that was left behind by the OP?

I can only assume he's ranting about a jogger coming out into traffic or something. In Auckland it's a curse.

The joggers or the traffic?

I live out Titirangi way and it seems the joggers and cyclists all have subconcious suicidal tendancies ... you can happily drive along and on the footpath someone is doing the healthy running thing and then they get to a junction and instead of "stop, look, listen" they just run on over.

Now either I missed out on the upgrades to get eyes in the back and sides of your head or they really are trying to kill themselves!

Yesterday I watched two guys do the above scenario and some car driver had to swerve and hoot .. and the runners gave him the finger! .. WTF ??!?

Then 5 minutes later at New Lynn a girl did it to me ... and i was riding an obnoxiously loud motorcycle! (you'd have to be a corpse not to hear this thing :-)

Ah well .. a few more generations and they'll be extinct ;-)

Yes, you do wonder about the health thing.

There's nothing healthy about having two broken legs when you've been mown down because you can't be bothered to look for traffic.

Sometimes I use big words I don't always fully understand in an effort to make myself sound more photosynthesis.

I've always said I'll take up jogging when I see one of them who looks like they're enjoying themself.

Mark: you can happily drive along and on the footpath

I first read that as "you can happily drive along the footpath". It reminds me of the bumper sticker "If you don't like the way I drive, get off the sidewalk!"
