You may recall that some while ago, a massive Canadian pension fund attempted to buy Auckland airport and were pretty much told to get lost.

I was mildly amused when I came across the following story, therefore! It seems it is very much do as I say, not as I do, when it comes to these things.

I'd never remember it from one day to the next I am afraid! That's just gibberish to my brain in teh same way that HTML code is.

Back to OP...

I'm looking forward to Labour, Greens, Mana, and the thousands of other serial protestors coming out against this latest blasphemous capitalistic acquisition.

Stansted in a nice(ish) airport in the middle of nowhere. I only ever used it once, and it took me nearly 90 minutes to get to where we living at the time - North London, so relatively close - and the parking system left a LOT to be desired. Too clever for it's own good.

Gatwick Luton and Heathrow are grottier but better situated for proximity to town. Curious investment methinks.
