Hmm, my logged-in youtube homepage seems to be weird today, anybody else?  ANother redesign being tested maybe?  The subscription videos are all in a wacky order too :-(

Mine doesn't look like that. Mine has black side menus. They probably test changes to some people before rolling them out to all, but that redesign looks like a backwards step.

I wish they'd stop messing with it.

I was so annoyed when they took away "uploads only" and you then had to go through every single person you subscribed to and change what you saw in your feed from them to uploads only. It should stop trying to be facebook.

You have to remember though, that with 'free' google services, you are not the customer. So they can do what they like. Although whether these services are really free is debatable, as google claim in NZ that they make huge losses providing them here, hence they pay little tax, so the economy misses out.

was still on the old one at 9 am this morning, went out and came back and mines changed too..

had a friend whos had this look on his youtube for the last month or so, i never took much notice since he was always telling me how much he disliked it and mines was still fine..

the whole way its mashed to the left of the screen is my biggest issue... almost looks like a site that's zoomed out way too far..

i was always taught titles should be up the top, not halfway down the page too.. just doesn't look right!

on the upside, the "my subscriptions" tab seems to show every upload from subscriptions rather than the old one that tended to miss the occasional video.. "what to watch" tab however, that one is horrible!

Mine has changed
While I can live with it, the biggest issues for me are - lack of quick notification of comments/messages, loss of pinned subscriptions.

I am not a huge user of YouTube so when I have a look I like to go to most popular by day/week/month.

With the new design I can not work out how to do this. Any suggestions? I found the previous redesign did not give the most popular results each time I went to the site, it just gave it by topic. Hopefully this option has not been removed fully.

slightly offtopic, but I notice that youtube finally has an iPad app available two months after the inbuild one was removed from iOS6
