Yep is bad news! In Titirangi we had heavy heavy rain, but no extreme winds.

Cheers,
Joseph

MetService spokesman Daniel Corbett said the organisation had not confirmed there had been a tornado but conditions were right for small tornados to develop.

Even if the MetService can't say there was, eyewitness accounts and photos of damage and very sadly - confirmation of deaths as the result of a tornado renders the MetServices inability to confirm that there was a tornado, utterly inconsequential.

If a tree falls in the forest, and the MetService hasn't confirmed it, did it happen?

Yeah, got home from work early to try stop some of the rain coming in, it's broken our seal around the chimney and over filled our interl gutters and water has back tracked in through the house and all external windows and door were lap a tap was turned on.

Luckily not much wind, Here in Henderson it's pretty still with no rain now.

Avoid the motorways. Traffic is gridlocked all over Auckland

(not sure why the city loses the plot every time it rains)

It does not matter what it is called, three people have tragically lost their lives, that is the real issue.

Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.

The Greenhithe bridge on the upper harbour highway is still closed so that's not going to help traffic either!
