Yeah it was pretty bad even in Lower Hutt. kept me up most of the night. Lucky I use bungy ties on my wheelbin.

I was pretty bad on top of Maupuia hill.

The view overlooking the airport and the entrance to the harbour is wonderful so I guess there has to be a price to pay.

The worst part was it was really hot inside as we had to keep the windows closed due to vertical blinds and window shapes which mean they can't be pulled back, no nice breeze for us!

Amazing how calm it was this morning.

Didn't anybody tell you I was a hacker?

Seems to have blown itself out which is good. It wasn't too bad where we are on Khandallah hill at the top of Onslow Road. I think we are fairly sheltered from the north, but pretty exposed from the south. Still for an old house it stands up to the wind fairly well!

Very quiet this morning, but we're glad we got back in Wellington around 8pm, just before the wind got fierce...
