Happy Birthday - Thanks for what you contribute here.

Hope you had a great day and got some new toys (to review? :) )

Thanks all!

Auspicious day to have a 50th birthday, being that I share the day with JohnR. Clearly a better standard of troll is born on the 17th of January.

RE: New toys - re-purchased a Nokia 808 (OS is horrible, but I have a use-case it excels in, so fine as a secondary device), got the Apex Glacier USB DAC/amp (lovely), HTC Butterfly should ship to me tomorrow. Also got my Dad an Audio Technica LP120 record player, have loved playing around with it! Very nice piece of kit and can be had for amazing low prices from Amazon (like half NZ retail, which is stellar for a unit with a reputation for competing with players worth twice its list price!). Not doing too badly on the toys front, but then I never am :)
