Hi, in the same spot, there are these white bugs everywhere in the carpet! (picture attached below)

Anyone know what they are and how to get rid of them? Are they carpet fleas? Thanks.

Can you get a better picture?

Way too big for a flea anyway.

Maybe a moth hatchling or something like that.

Carpet moth larvae maybe?

Looks like Pantry Moth larvae, Clothes Moth larvae, or Weevil larvae.  A
standard bug surface spray, like a flea spray treatment, over the
carpet after a good hoover should be enough to get rid of them.

Check in the pantry for an old forgotten bag of rice or lentils, they might all be coming from there!

Nah, pantry not underneath carpet, and we would be able to see that many bugs crawling across the hard , cold tiles to get to where they are now.

They seem to be crawling out from underneath the carpet..

and timmmay, I'm in Auckland. :)

P.S In the pic you can only see one, because we cleaned it out yesterday night. :)

Sounds like you have weevils. Check any open bags in your pantry. They love Rice, Wheat, Cereal etc.

Or an old bag of just about anything else.  We had something similar a few years ago and after pulling the kitchen apart found some forgotten box\bags of spices in an unused cupboard above the fridge.  These things were living in bags of cumin and paprika!

What version of carpet do you have, I heard Carpet 2.0 has most of the bugs removed?
