I have been using SMSFun.com.au to send free text messages for a few years. This has been a reliable service. It was offline for a couple of days then I get this message from smsfun:

"Hello [name]

We believe your account may have been breached recently, and as a precautionary measure your SMSFun password has been changed.

Your new password is: [16 digit number]"

I'm guessing it is not just me personally as the message implies. That approach really irritates me. Therefore it is likely the entire site was compromised. I see no news about it.

Does anyone know anything more about the attack?
