I'm going to be buying a bunch of stuff off Amazon soon (filming equipment) and I'll be needing to be using YouShop to get it to here in Auckland.

As YouShop doesn't offer a consolidation service, are there any tips for what I can look out to do to make sure Amazon doesn't send it out as a bunch of little parcels but instead just one larger parcel? To save on my YouShop shipping costs.

As long as all the items are on one Amazon order, they will have option to "Ship times as soon as available" or "Ship all times in one consignment" or similar when you order.
This worked for me with kindle and case and a cable also.
I don't know whether they actually guarantee it though.

Cheers,
Joseph

Sweet as, hadn't notice that.

I assume this only applies to 2ndhand goods which are marked "fulfilled by Amazon" and not any other secondhand goods?

I also assume Amazon has multiple warehouses across USA, what if I'm ordering an item which Amazon has such low stock in that they only have it at one warehouse but not at the warehouses where the other items are that I'm ordering?

Try http://www.shipito.com/ - they have consolidation.
