Im after a 16GB Sandisk SD card. I had a look at priceme and pricespy and their pricings are bad really. ExtremePC has a better price... any other suggestions?

How often do you find better deals at places that arent on the price websites?

If this happens regularly then whats the best way to buy things/compare prices?

Doing your best is much more important than being the best.

Which class of SDHC card are you looking for?

If you regularly purchase stuff from amazon, just add an SD card to your next order. Prices look quite good, and it shouldn't make much difference (if any) to shipping if both from amazon.

Just a note that some memory cards may be counterfeit if you go to the real cheap places, just a note and not sure if they have arrived into the NZ market but many of the cheaper places may import themselves. If you search sandisk fakes online you get a lot of detail ..

I usually walk in to pbtech for that stuff without thinking too much about it. Always within 10% or equal of best online price when I bother to check, good enough for me. Btw, from memory pbtech do not appear on the price checking services.

Last time I looked at Amazon for sd flash (long time ago) they were not shipping those items to NZ. It is usually something I decide I need just prior to a weekend away so Amazon is not my first thought for that.

I bought my 64GB sandisk card from extreme pc. I happened to be nearby and bought it from their store.

I never buy these in NZ - the prices here are several times higher than those in the USA or Singapore. No one has ever managed to explain why.

Does it still work out if buying just one card???

e.g. for 16GB SDHC card, most places are around $53 (+ shipping?)

ExtremePC is $35 all up... - no one can seem to explain that difference either...
