I believe it's only valid while your subscription is active and goes back to previous levels when it's finished.

From here:

All SkyDrive users receive 7 GB of SkyDrive storage for free. Additional storage can be purchased if needed. Customers with an active Office 365 Home Premium or Office 365 University subscription get an additional 20 GB of SkyDrive storage as part of their subscription service, for a total of 27 GB of storage. This additional 20 GB of SkyDrive storage is applied to the SkyDrive account that is linked to the Microsoft account used to create the Office 365 subscription account.

Do I consider your reply an entry?

What would I do with the extra 20GBs?
I would use it to store all of our family's photos.

The sixty minutes of Skype?
Prank call people overseas of course!

It would actually be quite nice to have Office 2013, as we are currently using libre office and it doesn't work as well for our databases.

With 20GB of free storage I would migrate some of my free cloud storage accounts across. To be honest I am on the cusp of buying a chunk of SkyDrive storage to compliment my free 7GB, it is a fantastic option and leaves you feeling just a little bit more secure then entrusting your files to someone like Mega :P

20GB of Skydrive - I'd mirror SOME of the data in the 50GB Dropbox give me (just for having my Android phone registered with them) for redundancy :-)

It would be nice to get another chunk of cloud storage, I like to keep a couple synced just in case one does a megaupload.

With the 20gb of extra SkyDrive storage, I'd back up more of my stuff. Recently moved to WP8, and the skydrive integration has made me switch from dropbox.

With the 60minutes, my GF can call her younger sister in Australia and her older sister in England. One of them subscribes to skype each month so they can do 4 way calling (adding in their mum).

A paperless office is my dream. A friend has partly achieved this by using a scanner that produces searchable pdf files, then drops them into Skydrive.
Instantly searchable files on all devices, whats not to like?

Pity you didn't get the additional free 18GB if you migrated from the old version of Skydrive.. Laughing

I could certainly gift those Skype minutes to my wife, as token defence against our mounting phone bill.

(Her mom lives in Buenos Aires) :P
