Can anyone tell me what happens to a parcel that is sent from overseas and has the wrong information on the custom declaration. I just bought a Tablet from Hong Kong and although im impressed with the 3 day delivery , on reading the label it tells me that i have just received a USB drive worth $25.00 and its a gift , not a $200 tablet that i bought. Would i forfeit the Tablet and be out of pocket or what happens.
You can't really be held liable for what a 3rd party writes on a label unless Customs could prove you asked the 3rd party to deliberately understate the value.
