Normally they're OK, but today there was a combination of lots of background noise, a conversation that wandered off a million miles from relevancy to me, and people coming up to ask me questions despite my holding a bluetooth fake old-skool telephone handset up to my ear for the purposes of advertising 'I AM ON THE PHONE RIGHT NOW'.

(Said fake handset somehow or other was added for $0.00 automatically to my online order of a VGA cable from DSE. I would never have bought one).

When I'm on boring conferences I normally go onto Imgur - then when I laugh out loud at random times I get questioned.

Off topic then? Perhaps you need experienced moderators. If so, then I know a good bunch...

It certainly isn't us.  I would class us as more of a circus of clowns, with a troll.

They are calling us, not our probs - I'm sure you've had a hand in their sabotage :)

Buzzword bingo works well enough, but a bit obvious when ya yell "Bingo" in the middle of someones elaborately crafted sentence.

If you are actually present at a conference, and fear falling asleep during the drone, use a pen or pencil, pointy side up on the desk, held between your fingers, and aimed so that it dings you on your forehead should you inadv .. advertantly doze off. Doesn't work too well if you tend to doze with your head to one side, and tongue lolls out ..
