Hi, before I contact this company does anyone know if it is legit.  Mum received a statement from them also saying $25 overdue.  Have never heard of this company before and apart from the staement which only had our surname and said residence on the statemen. No name initials or anything.   Mum does have a St John Medic alarm and a house alarm monitored by Chubb.  The payments are direct debited from her bank account.  So just wanting to check here if anyone knows if this is legit as if it is then will have to contact Chubb and St John to see if they use this company.

They are a legit company, but not sure why they'd be billing you.

Unless they are now tied up with Chubb. That is possible.

Thanks. I googled and seemed legit. Guess will have to phone and find out

Edit to say since it was legit I rang them.  Mum has a monitored alarm by Bosc but Chubb service it.  Secom Guardall have now taken over the accounts and any alarm problems still call Bosc number.
You would have thought someone would have contacted us saying this was happening instead of coming out of the blue. They said ignore the amount due on staement as how the system works

Ask for the invoice. A statement doesn't mean anything.

The invoice has to be complete and include a description of what services are being charged.

Strange, as St John claim that these medical alarms are directly answered by them, so why would they outsource the monitoring to Secom.

As for the alarm monitoring by Chubb, it doesnt look like UTC has offloaded the Chubb Monitoring Service to anyone.

Perhaps a breakdown in communication if there has been a change on providers for each company above OR they simply sent the invoice to the wrong person.

Ive found Chubb are muppets at billing. I've repeatedly asked for a invoice/statement but never get one...just a direct debit charge monthly. Crazy. My contract is up soon. I'll be demanding a total statement if they want to continue grabbing my money.

Sorry wasnt clear.  The St John alarm is still by them.  The house alarm is the one that has changed.  We had Bosc first and still ring that number if any faults but it is Chubb who answers and the bank statement shows Chubb.  Without contacting us Bosc have changed the billing to Secom Guardall.   So coming out of the blue didnt know if the account was genuine or not.  Just Bosc had told us it was changing the billing to another company

I got the same Statement yesterday. Called them this morning and asked "Who are you?".
They have taken over our Titan monitoring service, who monitor our home alarm. We don't get paper statements and pay by monthly auto payment. Girl on the phone explained that people who get paper statements got letters explaining the change. But as we don't get statements we didn't get the letter.

Cheers,
Joseph
