Hey guys - I'm heading to California for a month in a couple of weeks.

I was wanting to grab a couple of things off eBay while I am there but won't be in one place for long enough to gurantee it will arrive while I am there.

So I was wondering if anyone knows of a service like Amazon's locker but for eBay purchases?

Thanks!

Unfortunately while they can forward freight to NZ - you can't pickup from the warehouse they are using :(

If you are staying in a hotel, most hotels will accept packages for guests ahead of time.

That's what I do... I buy on Amazon and send to the hotel I will be staying. If I buy three weeks ahead I am almost 100% sure things will be there when I land. If they notify me something is not ready to ship I have time to cancel.

Another option would be to try this company:
http://www.shipito.com/

You could possibly pick up from them or get them to forward a few things at once via overnight courier.

I am heading to San Francisco and started looking at the Amazon locker options so I can ship something to it while I am there rather than 'driving' around town looking for big box retailers. Looks like it could be promising option if the item I want is released at the right time.

I've used Reship.com based in Portland for this service.

They'll hold items indefinitely and then just before you are due to arrive you can get them to send wherever you need to have them sent.

Hotel addresses is the easiest. I've even used concierge to pick up the item and it would be waiting for me when I check in :)
