Hey,
I am looking at purchasing this flashlight however I cannot find anyone in NZ who is sending it. Therefore I am looking at Amazon to send it, with youshop doing the forwarding. However, I believe the product is shipped with batteries. Would this be a problem? Is there anyway for me to get this flashlight in/to New Zealand?

Thanks!

The second you see Lithium battery mentioned, and going to/from overseas. It gets VERY hard. And as you suspect, I have doubts it would make it, or show up with them in it.

Even from here to the US, it has to go airfreight courier via NZPost, not standard parcelpost. As it has to be put into the DG bin or grouped with other battery devices in a secure bin for air travel (fussy FAA)

Yeah, the nz post page states: "Some electronic items containing lithium-ion batteries can be sent through YouShop. A lithium-ion battery must not exceed 20 Wh/cell, or 100 Wh per battery/pack".

Another option I'm looking at is purchasing it from a retailer in the UK, getting it shipped to my grandparent's adress in the UK. They can then take the batteries out of the package and forward it to nz.

Thanks for the help!

Even when you directly ask them about things with batteries they will not give you a definite answer on yes or no.

I have had a crapload of batteries, individual cells and devices supplied with cells come from asia without issue so I dont know why there is all the fuss with youshop. I decided not to risk hassles and just ordered bare powertools instead of with batteries and chargers - chargers would be problematic here since they would be 120v ones and knock off batteries are easily got off aliexpress or similar.
