For those that don't know what it is, it's a panel comedy show loosely based on news/current affairs (kind of similar to 7 Days). The host is Jimmy Carr (so if you don't like him then...).

There's plenty of episodes on youtube.

I just picked a random one from 2012 for anyone that is interested, so hopefully its a decent one... One of my favourite shows.

Yup, one of my favourite quiz shows, behind Buzzcocks and QI.

Have very much enjoyed the five recent episodes of 8 out of 10 Cats does Countdown.
Jimmy Carr with Jon Richardson and Sean Lock, with guests, doing the British quiz show Countdown.
My only problem is that the puzzles are damn tricky. I pause the show and try to work them out :)

Cheers,
Joseph

Ahh cool! Not many of my friends or co-workers have heard of it...

I like Joe Wilkinson on the show but find his stand-up less than average.

I'm a big fan of David Mitchell so any show he's on gets a watch from me. 10 O'Clock Live was great but I think it's been canned. Would I Lie To You (UK version) is also pretty good although it can be a bit hit and miss depending on the guests.

Yep I agree, we watched the first two last night.  That Rachel Riley is a math freak!  The speed at which she does those figures on the whiteboard is outrageous, and she looks amazing in the process :)

My wife did the puzzles as they were happening, I just watched.  She did quite well and got most of the same answers as the contestants.  She's a teacher so she said she's going to work the games into her year 4 class and see how the kids like it.

Never heard of it, but I like Jimmy Carr so I'd check it out.

She should have Joe Wilkinson as an assistant.
