Just wanted to share this as I purchased one of these cards and after being burned through eBay recently, I tested the card right out of the packet and found it to be a reprogrammed 8GB card.

These were sold through GrabOne and spupplied by Mobile Garage in Auckland.  I will of course seek a refund though GrabOne as the point of sale but I contacted the supplier anyway and received the following:

"I am really sorry to hear that! We have brought 10 sample first before we have started selling these. 10 out of 10 of was perfect. I have asked my supplier what was the return rate he was it was around 5%. Refund is fine by us or I can send another one to you regards"

It sounds like he thinks it is just faulty, rather than fake.  If you bought one, I would recommend testing it for actual capacity using h2testw. Most people might not realise for months that the card was not the advertised capacity, depending on what they use it for.
