I have noticed that sometimes websites I visit regularly load incorrectly for a while.

For example, today the London Times website loads like a mess, with headers all over the place, text too big etc etc but yesterday was just fine and normal.

Anyone know why this happens?

What ISP is probably the most important question...

It could indicate a failure to load plugins, scripts or stylesheets used by the page, and you're getting the basic HTML layout without any formatting, styling etc. This might be that the web server is responding slowly and timing out, or could be an issue with your connection, or anywhere in between.

It's Safari over VF broadband.

Now it works again - it happens intermittently and to random sites. Other sites browsed in tabs over the same connection at the same time are fine.

Possible it's their transparent proxy playing up again.
