I feel like I am going through a technology mid-life crisis :( Christmas is coming and there doesn't seem to be anything I want :( I love my gadgets but this year I feel like there's nothing that really blows my mind.

Thought about an ipad or mini but I have an iphone so nothing new really. Thought about a bigger TV but that's not much 'technology' just bigger. Perhaps upgrade my computer but there's no huge benefit there. I thought about a Nintendo 3DS but I'm never on the move enough, perhaps a PS4, well I have a PS3 and loads of games still to play but even then pre-orders are now for next year anyway.

There really is nothing that floats my boat this year for Christmas, maybe I'll just get some socks...... :(

A little off topic, but I just wanted to thank you for ending a massive birthday present problem for me.  I clicked the link and saw a Nikon style lens mug on there...I don't have time to wait for Amazon, but I found the exact same thing on TradeMe!  So thanks!

Well, you could hang out a bit longer and get an oculus rift. Pretty freaking awesome.

Buy Lego MINDSTORMS EV3 kit.
I got one for my daughter, ended up spending hours myself building and programming it :)

Nice and geeky - I'm quite interested in trying a Keyport: http://mykeyport.com/

I can't justify the cost at this stage tho.  I think they look awesome!

I think I would get: House, Car, Garage, USB, bottle opener, flashlight.

Drums or guitar is definitely a good idea.
