Surprised there's no thread already.  Any online (or even offline) stores having a decent sale today?

5% off your order at computer lounge. Its not too bad of a deal considering they already have pretty low prices.

Wouldn't accept lower than 10% off at CL personally

Depends what the item is.  On a fair bit of their stock they have pretty good prices already, they're generally excellent if you have any issues and they do free shipping. All things considered 5% is just icing on the cake :)

(Though they did have 10% off most things just a few days ago for their 10th birthday - made for some nice deals)

Back on topic I've been pretty disappointed with the labour day sales.  I've been half watching plasma TVs, but there's nothing anywhere close to the deals that were on around April\May - I suppose because they were getting rid of 2012 models.

I don't think that traditionally, labour day has had many great sales on. The NZ dollars is at one of it's highest levels at teh moment, so you would expect there to be some really good ones, but perhaps retailers and wholeslares are wanting larger margins at the moment int he lead up to christmas.

25% off DVDs and Blu-Rays at the Warehouse. I don't normally shop there, but stuck my nose in and picked up two box-sets and a half-dozen films that I hadn't yet got around to seeing. Best bargain was picking up some Blu-Ray films I wanted for $7.50 each.

Apple stuff never goes on sale because people with no money buy them anyway, haha. :)
