When I was a little boy, some 30 years ago (My God!), I was given a toy that I loved and played with for hours. It had a truck (yellow) that went around a track and moved little black balls from place to place. It would run back and forward around the track performing these 3-4 actions and I saw it about a year ago in the shop, but I am struggling to find it now, as I am not sure what it's called and my memory of it, is making it hard for me to describe. I'd love to find one new or second hand for my 4 year old.

Does anyone have the faintest idea what I am referring to?

Aha! it's called the Big Loader Construction set (Be very careful googling for Yellow truck, black balls on the internet FYI!).

Is it complete and are you willing to sell it? Are you in Auckland or would you be prepared to ship it?

I'll check when I get home. If we still have it, it will be up for sale. Not in Auckland, but can ship. That's assuming we still have it. Haven't seen it for a while...

Will confirm later on today.

Sorry to raise your hopes, but it looks like this might have gone the last time we had a sell-off. No sign of it in any of the usual places things like this would live.

Best of luck finding one!

My uncle bought one of the Big Loader sets for me and my brother when we were boys. He ended up buying one for himself too!

Good luck with your hunt! I remember seeing the Thomas version maybe 2-3 years ago so there should be a few of those around still.
