Hello everybody,

I am based in France and would like to contact a specific seller whom sell an interesting item on Trademe.co.nz website. The problem is that I cannot register the website because I do not live in New Zealand or Australia.
Could someone here be so kind to contact the following seller : curlymum
http://www.trademe.co.nz/Members/Profile.aspx?member=199079
and tell her to contact me per email at the following email address : fabrice_leonard@hotmail.fr

Many Greetings,
Fabrice

TradeMe do not have a provision to make direct contact with sellers, regardless of if you are registered or not.

Also, that seller is not currently listing anything for sale anyway.

Yes you are right, I would like to contact this seller about an unsold item he listed in the past. I have a good hope he still has it in stock.

Greetings,

The problem with what you are asking is it's against TradeMe's rules and anyone trying to pass contact details can get in trouble (like a ban from TM) for doing so.

Secondly, since that member has no current listings, it's not possible to leave any kind of question for them to read anyway.

Thanks a lot for your prompt reply! Therefore If I understood well, I have to be patient this seller have something to sell before having the possibility to contact him through someone else.

Most TradeMe members will not help you to contact a seller on TradeMe because that breaks the rules and that member could be banned from using TradeMe.

gzt: What is the item/link?

There is none yet as the item was an 'unsold' one as stated earlier.

And to the OP: Because you are based in France and it sounds like you want to purchase an item, I don't think they may want to send an item overseas.. It could depend on how nice she is and how big the item is.

Yes. Fab likely found it using a google search and can provide a link to the google cache for the item.

Fabrice... Please understand people would help if possible but there are a few complicating factors here:

- Trade Me does not offer a private mail facility between members (probably to avoid out of system transactions bypassing their fees) and members trying to go around this find they soon are banned from the site. Trade Me being the largest New Zealand site and the only real P2P auction site pretty much controls this

- The number of overseas scammers over the last few years have been growing steadily so the site really blocks anyone from outside the country from registering. You would be surprised by the number of TVs some Romanian folks seem to have for sale...

The only way to find who this person is really is through a new auction when someone could ask a question but in a way that wouldn't raise flags.

Sorry...

As I understand it, if you search and find the item you want in the "expired listings" section (enter the item description as normal, but instead of pressing the search button, press the down arrow next to it) you can then click the link "Ask the Seller to Relist the Item". The seller is then sent a request from Trademe indicating someone wants to buy the item in question. They can then optionally re-list the item.

Correct, but this only works if you are a registered user, and you can then only buy the item if you are a registered user. TradeMe doesn't allow registrations from other than NZ or Australia, so the OP can neither make the request, nor purchase the item even if it was re-listed.

Please find below the unsold item link for which I am very interested to purchase :
http://www.trademe.co.nz/toys-models/jigsaws-puzzles/jigsaws/1500-piece-and-over/auction-307027249.htm

That is great news! I would highly appreciate if someone could question the seller through the link "Ask the Seller to Relist the Item".
By this way I would know if it is still for sale.

About the shipping costs, I will take it in charge if it is not excessively expensive.

Thanks a lot to everybody for your precious help
