i know theres a few web contractors out there who might have done work for this auckland firm - did you get paid?

we received an urgent job from them and the owner jc was complaining how his 'usual' contractors were not available (now we know why) and we ended up doing around $1000 worth of work for him - 3 months later and not a cent - the only contact weve had from him was an abusive phone call after we tried to message his business through fb.

any other contractors had issues with this firm?

Never heard of him. If you have a contract or evidence take him to small claims.

Website links dont work, no mention of anything on the site as to who they are, or even where theyre located.

Maybe hes busy paying the web guy to finish the site before paying his other contractors...

Good luck

thanks guys - yeh we'd never heard of them before they rang us and we took a gamble doing work without securing a project deposit at least - which looks like we lost - hopefully the debt collectors can recover something.

funny side story to the issue was we were sent an voip phone (he demanded we return it - we reminded him of the unsolicited goods act). he reckons its worth $200 but i doubt it would get more than $30 on tm.
